This morning, I stopped by Jin Patisserie on Abbot Kinney for exquisite tea & cake. 

I was also delighted to find a cute Japanese goods store called Tortoise General Store, located a few shops away.  They have some unique kitchenware and other supplies, some which are handmade!

Some of their items were reminiscent of my childhood days (such as the picture books on display and the tops). In the end, I decided to purchase a pair of pretty wooden coasters.
