It's already been two years since my dad's passing, and it really makes me realize how quickly time flies. But there's almost never been a day where I do not think of him and miss his presence. This is probably the last photo I ever took with him at my college graduation, and I had left for Japan a few months later, and never got to see him in person after that. There are still many things I regret not telling him or doing with him, but I know that I will reunite with him in Heaven. I hope I can make you proud until then. I miss you and love you, Dad.
I lost my dad five years ago and my best friend last month. I can definitely tell you that I'm happy that I have my memories of them even though the time was short. Hang in there and prayers to you!

Samantha, I'm so sorry for your loss :( Losing a family member is so incredibly difficult. I remember when my grandma passed away unexpectedly a few years back, I had and still have so much regret because I had always taken her love and presence for granted ;(
