ULTRA JAPAN 2016 Day 3

It rained on the third day of ULTRA JAPAN weekend, but that didn't stop Gail from The Equinox Fashion and I from enjoying Nero, Martin Garrix and Tiesto! What a perfect way to end the weekend.

ULTRA JAPAN最終日は雨が降ってしまったけど、だからってNero, Martin GarrixとTiestoを見逃す訳にはいきませんでした！タイから来日しているゲールちゃんと行けて、楽しかったです！良い週末だったなぁ。

In memory of 3/11, "Aizu Bandaisan" EDM remixes by E.D.O

Today marks 5 years after the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Even though it's already been 5 years, people in the Tohoku region are still suffering, some not being able to return to their homes even now. E.D.O released a new single today titled "Aizu Bandaisan," a traditional Japanese anthem about the Bandaisan mountain in Aizu, Fukushima (Fukushima is one of the prefectures that suffered from the nuclear explosion). E.D.O, which consists of Marc Panther from Globe, Daichi Yokota and Claudio, is a unit that creates EDM remixes of traditional Japanese songs, and I was lucky enough to participate in one of the tracks. I hope my lyrics will bring even a little bit of hope to those in the Tohoku region. All 3 remixes are available on iTunes in 111 countries, ad also on Amazon. 本日３／１１で、東日本大震災から５年が経ちました。５年という年月はあっという間でしたが、震災と原発で苦しんでいる方はまだまだたくさんいます。ニュースを見ると、まだ避難生活をしていて、家に帰れないという人が数多くいます。今回、Globeのマークパンサーさんを含むEDMユニットE.D.Oが新しいリミックスシングル、「会津磐梯山」を１１１国でiTunesにて配信されました。私は、DAICHI YOKOTA remixに声で参加させて頂きました。大震災で苦しんでいる人たち、今でも苦労をしている人たちへ向けて応援の言葉を書きました。iTunesとAmazonで配信されているので、是非聴いてみて下さい。

E.D.O "The Moon over the Ruined Castle" EDM Mix

Hey guys! A new track is out on iTunes, one that I've participated in ever so slightly :)

E.D.O aka Electronic DanceMusic Organization, has released a 3-in-1 single on iTunes in 38 different countries. "The Moon over the Ruined Castle" is a traditional Japanese song, but with the master remixing of 3 talented artists, this old tune has been transformed into 3 different EDM tracks. E.D.) includes Mark Panther from J-Pop group Globe, sound producer DaichiYokota, and creater & artist Claudio.

I had the honor of offering my voice and lyrics for the 2nd track, "The Moon over the Ruined Castle" DAICHI YOKOTA MIX. The trailer on their Facebook page starts with this track, which is pretty awesome. Hope you all like it! Don't forget to download and spread the love <3

ULTRA Japan 2015 - Nicky Romero, DJ Snake & Skrillex

I can't explain in words how amazing ULTRA Japan was. I went the 2nd day out of the 3-day EDM music festival with Nicky Romero, DJ Snake and Skrillex headlining the show. Many thanks to Baroque Japan Limited for letting us hang out in your booth, and to my best friend Marie for dancing like crazy with me ♡

一昨日は、初のULTRA Japanに行くことが出来ました。２日目は、Nicky Romero, DJ Snake, Skrillexの大物DJがヘッドラインしていたので、本当にラッキーでした！Baroque Japan Limitedのブースにお邪魔させて頂き、ありがとうございました！そして大好きなマリーとずっと踊り明かして楽しかった！ありがとう♡

Electrox Japan 2015

Posting these photos from Electrox Japan 2015, like, 2 days late but... I had to post them. This is a New Year's EDM festival held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba prefecture. My first music festival, gone on impulse even though I wasn't planning on it until the last moment. So much color, so many good vibrations, sounds, and words. Music can unite us all, even though there are so many genres out there. AlunaGeorge and above&beyond are definitely favorites.

Electrox 2015の風景をカメラで押さえてきました。やっぱり、その場にいないと感じられないものがたくさんあった。すごいギリギリだったけど、行って本当に良かった。

I would appreciate it SO much if you all took a listen to this track! It's an EDM dance tune with Latin inspiration. I wrote the lyrics and Claudio created the rap lyrics in Spanish, so it's a very multi-cultural track :)
