So there's a funny story behind this tank top.
When I was visiting my hometown of Huntington Beach back in April, I went shopping at Nordstrom on a Thursday, right before Weekend 1 of Coachella. I had no idea Beyonce's new co-founded brand, Ivy Park, had just launched that day, so I obviously thought nothing about the fact that all the items were still in full stock. When I went to pay for the tank top, I noticed one of the sales associates was wearing the exact same one - oversized in a size M with a pair of leggings and Adidas Originals. That was when I couldn't decide whether I wanted to wear mine to fit or oversized. I ended up buying it in a size S just in case I wouldn't like it too loose. And besides, I could always exchange it later if I needed to. After a fun-filled weekend at Coachella, I went back to the same Nordstrom, deciding I wanted the tank top in a size M after all. To my shock, most of the items were already sold out in most of the Nordstroms in southern California. So, of course, no size M tank top for me. It was crazy how Ivy Park sold out of over half of their stock in just a single weekend. But at least I still have my tank top. In size S. I suppose it was meant to be.

４月にハンティントン・ビーチの実家に戻っていたときに、コーチェラの第一週末の前の木曜日、ノードストロームというデパートで買い物をしました。ちょうどその日に、ビヨンセの新しいブランド、Ivy Parkがローンチしたのを全然知らなくて、全商品が在庫数１００％の状態で店頭に出ていたことを不思議にも思いませんでした。着用しているタンクトップのお会計をしているとき、店員さんが同じタンクをオーバーサイズで着ているのがかっこいいなと思い、そこでまたサイズに迷ってしまいました。結局、その日はオーバーサイズではなく、もうちょっと体にフィットしそうなSサイズを買いました。また迷ったら、後日交換できるだろうと思って。楽しさ満点のコーチェラ週末明けに、やはりオーバーサイズのタンクが気になり、サイズ交換しに同じデパートへ行ったら、ほとんどの商品が売り切れていたことにショック。もちろん、オーバーサイズのMサイズタンクも無しです。週末の間の数日に、半分以上の商品が売り切れるなんてすごい、流石ビヨンセのブランド！それでも、タンク一枚はゲットできたので良しとしました。それが運命だったと信じて。
