My photographer friend Jason Mordeno was visiting Tokyo again, and of course we decided to do a photo shoot, this time in the rain. Rain means umbrellas, but I didn't want one to get in our way. And shooting like this made me realize how beautifully glossy the streets look when wet, and how much more vivid one's reflection looks in the building's granite walls. And this jumpsuit from Style Moi was a favorite this summer, paired with a bold accessory and some heels. It's always a pleasure shooting with Jason - he works swiftly, and gives subtle direction that makes each photo more special. Thanks always, Jason!

カメラマンの友達のジェイソン・モルデノが数週間前また来日していたので、もちろん撮影もしましたよ！でも、今回は雨の中。雨の中の道は、思っていたよりとても写真写りが良かったし、ビルの壁のリフレクションもすごく綺麗でした。このジャンプスーツはこの夏のお気に入りで、ポイントでネックレスやヒールを合わせたら、さらにシックになりました。ジェイソンさんの素早い仕事ぶりとちょっとした指示で、写真がとてもいい感じに仕上がりました。いつもありがとうございます！

Some say fashion is about sacrifice, and while that can be true, I still opt for comfort 80% of the time. These relaxed pants from Style Moi are the epitome of comfort and the added side slits make it even better. I combined some other casual items with these pants, including a loose tank top I found at Forever 21, and this khaki jacket from Zara. I can't believe the warm summer months are over, but looking forward to the fall season!

I've been collaborating with my photographer Lisa of Paint with Stars for over 2 years now, and I seriously could not have produced quality content without her help. Shooting and working with her each time is a breeze, and she is one of the sweetest people I've met in Japan. She recently wrote a blog post about her experiences as a foreigner in Japan for the past 6 years (she's originally from northern California), and it instantly gave me more willpower to keep pursuing my dreams, and to simply not give up. ファッションのために着心地を犠牲にしないといけないと聞いたことがありますが、私はそれでも着やすい服に引かれてしまいます。このStyle Moiのリラックスパンツは本当に履きやすくて、サイドスリットも涼しげなポイントです。今回はForever 21のベーシックなタンクにZaraのカーキジャケットでカジュアルダウンなコーデに仕上げてみました。もう夏が終わるんだと思うと寂しいですが、秋が楽しみになって来ました！

ここ2〜３年ぐらい、いつも素敵なお写真を撮ってくれるPaint with Starsのリサさんとずっとコラボレーションしていますが、彼女のお陰でここまでクオリティーの高いコンテンツをアップできているので、本当に感謝しています。撮影するときもやりやすいし、めっちゃ優しくて穏やかな人です。最近その彼女も、日本に移住してからの経験をブログ記事にまとめていました。私も読んで色んな意味で共感できて、また頑張ろうって気持ちになりました。英語ですが、こちらで是非読んでみてくださいね！
