Luxurious in Ginza

It's so much easier to look luxurious in the winter by just adding a faux fur coat to any outfit. And it doesn't have to be expensive either. I picked up this Forever 21 coat for $100 USD, and it's my favorite outerwear of the season. Since it doesn't have a collar, balancing it out with a turtleneck is my go-to way to style the coat. And isn't this wool maxi skirt so perfect? I love the bow at the waist. And what better place to take these OOTD photos than Ginza, the high-end part of Tokyo for shopping and dining.

Vintage sweaters & Dr. Martens

The color red is slowly but surely creeping into my wardrobe. With the winter sales going on in almost every store imaginable, I decided to stop by a few of my favorites, and found this cozy-looking sweater at Opening Ceremony. A remake of a vintage sweater, I didn't realize what the print said until after I bought it (gave me a nice laugh). The colors and the perfectly oversized fit is what suits me about this piece. And perfect how it goes so well when paired with black and white. 

ちょっと前までは赤は私のワードローブに存在していなかったのに、最近結構ハマっています。最近どこへ行っても、ウィンターセールが開催されているので、大好きなOpening Ceremonyにも立ち寄ってみました。このヴィンテージセーターはリメイクされたもので、一点しか存在しないもの。買ったあと、セーターに刻まれた文字を読んだ時は笑ったけどね。色合いとオーバーサイズのフィット感がすごく好き。モノクロのアイテムと合わせたら、ちょうどいい感じのコーデに仕上がりました。

An all-black affair (featuring FAKUI & Aviv Kinel)

Just as much as I love clothes, I do love a good accessory. This otherwise plain black outfit was spiced up thanks to this woven silver chains pendant necklace from Aviv Kinel and these cute pom pom socks from FAKUI. The necklace is made from hand-woven cotton with very intricate details going on. I can see myself wearing it in the summer as well with a summer dress and even just a T-shirt and shorts. Around the end of last year, I visited the first FAKUI exhibition, whose designer I've worked with in the same company previously. I am so excited for her launch of FAKUI, and I'm pretty sure my FAKUI sock collection will be increasing in quantity. There were so many cute socks it was hard to choose! 

I'm a huge fan of gold jewelry, but I completed a clean, silver look and matched the Aviv Kinel necklace with silver-framed sunnies from ZeroUV. Easily my favorite sunglasses brand :) What's your favorite accessory brand? Let me know in the comments!

洋服を集めるのは大好きですが、可愛いアクセサリーも欠かせないです。この手作りのAviv Kinelのネックレスと、FAKUIのポンポンソックスを合わせていなければ、このコーデは結構つまらないものになっていたと思います。ネックレスは、手作りのコットンでできていて、ディテールもとても細やかです。夏はサマードレスと合わせたり、Tシャツとショートパンツに合わせて付けたいですね！彼女のEtsy Shopにも他のアクセサリー見れますよ！

去年の秋に、FAKUI初の展示会に行ってきました。デザイナーさんとは、以前同じ会社で働いていたので、新しいブランドのローンチはとても楽しみにしていました。私のFAKUIの靴下コレクションも増えていくかも。全部可愛すぎて、選ぶのが大変！

普段はゴールドのアクセサリーを身につけることが多いですが、今回はネックレスに合わせて、サングラスもシルバーのフレームのものにしました。ZeroUVはいつでもNo.1のサングラスブランドです♡

A bit late, but Merry Christmas & happy holidays ya'll. Christmas really gets me in the mood to dress up a little, and adding a pop of bright red with a simple turtleneck spiced up this holiday look. I was working both Christmas & Christmas Eve, but I had dinner with some of my friends and ate too much cake than I normally do. If you're someone like me who grew up in a city where you can't tell the difference between summer and winter (oh, how I love you Huntington Beach, CA), then you'd probably be just as excited to take in the beauty that is autumn in Japan. Even in the middle of the city, one can enjoy the gorgeous rainbow of colors on the leaves of the rows and rows of trees along the streets and parks. Lisa and I were lucky enough to capture the remaining glory of the golden ginkgo trees and crimson maple leaves in Ueno Park.

I'm a big lover of all things black, but a touch of color can be necessary sometimes. This cozy Desigual sweater is a pretty combination of bold colors which look great against black. I also recently discovered a brand called Epoi, which is a Japanese brand specializing in genuine leather bags. The sides of this square-shaped bag has an origami motif, which I think is a unique way to distinguish this brand from those of other countries. And completing any outfit with a pair of Zerouv sunglasses is a must!

真っ黒なコーディネートは大好きだけど、たまには色も取り入れたいですね。このふわふわのDesigualのニットは、ピンクとブルーのコンビネーションがすごく合っていて、黒に合わせると更に明るい色が引き立てられます。最近、Epoiという、日本のレザーバッグブランドを発見しました。この四角いバッグの横のディテールが、折り紙のモチーフになっていて、とてもお洒落です。日本ならではのバッグですね！そして、どんなコーデでもZeroUVのサングラスで締めないとね！
