MBFW Tokyo - Black & white stripes

I can't believe how quickly the week sped by, and that Fashion Week Tokyo is coming to an end. These are some photos from my first official day at Fashion Week after the House of Holland show. I ran into bloggers Junko Suzuki of Kawaii Labo Tokyo and Anji Salz. They are both such talented ladies in terms of their style and their hair & makeup! I love both of their Instagrams (I'm kind of a stalker ha ha).

Fashion snaps from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo

Some fashion snaps I took earlier today after the House of Holland 2015 AW show at Shibuya Hikarie. I was so inspired by the fashionistas around me, and this isn't even close to all that I saw today. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo - Christian Dada 2015 AW

Happy Fashion Week! This week is Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Tokyo, and I finally made my way to Shibuya Hikarie to attend my first show of the week - Christian Dada 2015 AW. 

Christian Dada is a brand launched in 2010 with their AW collection by designer Masanori Morikawa, and has since then created many eye-catching pieces for celebrities such as Lady Gaga.  After seeing all the beautiful looks from this show, it quickly became a favorite. For one, I usually prefer deep, more luxurious-looking colors like blacks and burgundies, and fur accessories and outerwear, I believe, are a must for fall/winter. With the right balance of feminine silhouettes, detailed prints and the perfect amount of edge, this collection truly embodied the essence of the Christian Dada brand.  I especially enjoyed the embroidered details along the jacket sleeves, as well as the Chinese dragon prints. These subtle details always make a collection more interesting!

今週はメルセデス・ベンツファッションウェーク東京がスタートしました！私も、今夜やっとランウェイを鑑賞することが出来ました♪Christian Dada 2015 AWは本当に素敵なショーで、自分でも着たい！って思うルックがいっぱいありました。ダークグリーンやボルドーなどのディープカラー、ラックスなファーのアウターやアクセサリー、プリーツや刺繍のディテール。どのルックもフェミニンさとエッジのバランスが完璧でした。本当に素敵なブランドとランウェイでした！

Hey guys, it's been a long week for me last week, and I was hibernating a bit, refreshing myself for the upcoming week. Tokyo Fashion Week has started, and I'm planning on attending a few of the shows later in the week (excited!). Overall, I feel like winter is coming to an end, and so many new opportunities, events and changes are taking place everywhere with spring approaching.

Although the weather has been much more promising, it's still chilly and I can't part with my winter coats just yet. These photos are from a few days ago, and I guess I was in the mood to clad myself in all black (not a surprise coming from me, haha). I just really love these pointed loafers I got on sale at the Tokyu Shibuya Scramble. Just casually browsing through, and just my luck, chic flats in my size and under 7000 yen ($70). It's so so hard to find my shoe size in Japan because women here have such tiny feet and of course I have feet of a giant's. I think these shoes were meant to be. Does that every happen to you, or is it just me? :)

３月に入り、やっと暖かくなってきました。でも、やはりまだコートは必要ですね。数日前も、このようにオールブラックのコーディネートにまたもや片寄ってしまいました。黒はいつでもシックに着こなせるので、欠かせないですね。。今度はもうちょっと春っぽい服を着ます！（笑）でも、渋谷スクランブルでゲットしたこのポイントトーローファーは履きたくて。サイズもぴったり、しかも７０００円以下！！My new favorite item.

A gift from Comptoir des Cotonniers

Imagine my excitement when I received these thoughtful and generous gift from Comptoir des Cotonniers this morning. Eek! What a perfect way to start my Sunday. Thank you so much Comptoir for these amazing gifts! They also included some cute lingerie and a bathing suit from Princesse Tam Tam (can't wait for summer!).
