Summer jumpsuit style (feat. Comptoir des Cotonniers)

A jumpsuit with a sophisticated silhouette and design is a must have for the summer months. I would wear this one from Comptoir des Cotonniers every day if I could - it's the simplest way to exude Parissiene chic without much effort. I paired it with a relaxed fit jacket also from the same collection, but kept my accessories simple this time with some round, retro frames from zeroUV and mini tassel earrings from Beach Closet. A friend of mine is the designer behind the pretty beach-inspired accessories from Beach Closet, so it would mean a lot if you checked out her designs!

Venice Beach

Venice Beach is the epitome of a Californian oceanside paradise. You got your cloudless clear blue skies, vast ocean, palm trees swaying in the wind, colorful graffiti walls (and palm trunks!), the quirky souvenir shops along the Boardwalk, cafes and clothing boutiques on Abbot Kinney... and the list goes on. My friend Tina introduced me to areas I've never explored, including a delicious ice cream parlor from Portland called "Salt & Straw" where we tried a goat cheese & black olive brittle ice cream. Coming straight from freezing Japan, this ocean breeze was exactly what I needed to revive myself. Thanks Tina for a much-needed day trip!

ベニスビーチは、ざっくり言うとカリフォルニアの海岸沿いパラダイスの縮図です。雲が一つない青空、広々とした海、風に揺れるたくさんのヤシの木、カラフルなグラフィーティ、ボードウオークにずらりと並ぶ数多くの面白いお土産屋さん、アボットキニーのお洒落カフェとブティック・・などなど。友達のティナちゃんが、私の知らないベニスビーチを色々紹介してくれました！特に気に入ったのは、ポートランド出身のアイスクリームショップ「ソルト＆ストロー」。山羊の乳とブラックオリーブをカラメル状にした粒のアイスを食べました！すごくさっぱりして美味しかった♪　日本の寒い冬から、すずしい波風でちょっと生き返りました。ティナちゃん、連れて行ってくれてありがとう！

Comptoir des Cotonniers 2016 Spring/Summer Showroom

I always love visiting the Comptoir des Cotonniers showroom, and this time my friend Amy and I checked out their lovely 2016 Spring/Summer collection. Starting with their trademark "Canyon Pink," this collection embodied everything sweet and feminine, created with beautiful colors and textures perfect for spring. My favorite were the "La Slash" shoes with the shoelaces on the side. How cute are they? Thanks Eri and Comptoir for having us!

Comptoir des Cotonniersのショールームはいつも楽しみにしています。そして、今回は２０１６年の春夏コレクションを拝見させて頂きました。春のトレードマークカラー「カニオンピンク」をはじめ、このコレクションはとても軽やかでフェミニンな感じに仕上がっていました。素材の肌触りがよく、春にはぴったりのカラーも豊富でした！私のお気に入りは「ラ・スラッシュ」のスニーカー。靴ひもがサイドにあるのは、めずらしいですよね！コントワージャパン、いつもありがとうございます！

Just as much as I like looking dressed-up and feminine, there's this super casual and I'll-wear-whatever-the-fuck-I-want side of me. I love wearing my dresses, skirts. crop tops and blouses, but I also like my loose boyfriend-fit jeans with a plain graphic tee. And I'm really hooked on this club-D remix of Iggy Azalea's "Work." Check it.

You won't believe how gloomy the weather is over here in Tokyo right now by glancing at these photos! I can't wait for the summer sunshine to arrive in time for my birthday. For this outfit, I used the same concept of summer whites and prints from a previous post (see post here), but this time with pants and a bold yellow top I picked up at H&M. These slim-fit pants from Comptoir des Cotonniers fit me so well, and they can be worn dressed up or down. 

I think by now most of you may have noticed that I wear many different styles. Being a model and blogger and being exposed to so many styles and brands, it's so hard for me to just stick to one kind of wardrobe or look. I always try to wear what makes me feel good & confident. And I've definitely changed my style considerably in the past year or so! Haircuts really do make a difference :) 

ただいま、この写真達とは真逆の天気でございます。毎日雨の日が続くと、気分も憂鬱になりがちですが、こういう元気が出るような色合い着用したらいかがですか？前回使用したテーマを再利用して、サマーホワイトとボールドなプリントをミックスしました。このブラウスはH&Mで買い物をしたときにすぐに目に止まり、衝動買いしてしまいました（笑）そして、このコントワーの白デニムは、涼しい夏の日に大活躍！フィットも綺麗だし、白は何にでも合いますね。

私のブログを読んで下さっていたら気づいているかもしれませんが、私は様々なスタイルを着回しています。モデルとブロガーとして、色んなブランドとの出会いがあるので、これというスタイルに定められない自分がいます。でも、自身が持てるお洋服は着てるようにしてます。この数年を振り返ると、自分は結構変わったなーとも思います。ヘアチェンジもやはり大事ですね♪
