Two completely different looks from my photo shoot with Greg Brown Photography. I've always wanted to do the one-glove thing like MJ - I will forever try to strive for his swag. And this tropical-looking jumpsuit was a perfect choice for a summer photo shoot. And I love how the makeup artist matched the colors of my eye makeup with the jumpsuit!

where does this door go

I`m currently hooked with Mayer Hawthorne`s new album, “Where Does This Door Go.” Last year, I had the pleasure of participating in his music video for “No Strings” and I've been listening to his music ever since. This album really makes me feel at “home,” i.e., California. I feel like he really catches the California vibe in his tunes. Love it!

JFW Fashion Fair 2013

I had the privilege of attending JFW Fashion Fair 2013 on Thursday at Tokyo Big Sight as a representative for Whatiwear.com. It was my first time taking photos for a fashion website, but I had a great time keeping an eye out for great style. I took some extra photos of some of the cool booths I saw - so much creativity! I was quite amazed.

birthday

It's been a couple days since my birthday passed, but would just like to thank those of you who left me sweet birthday messages on my Facebook and Instagram. Thank you so much! I spent a relaxing birthday in Tokyo this year. My 22nd year was full of new experiences and people and I hope my 23rd year will be even more productive!

I did this photoshoot about a month ago so I'm happy the photos finally arrived. I hope I pulled off the Audrey Hepburn-inspired look my stylist was going for in the turban and peacock earrings. And I realized I tend to title my blog posts with song lyrics.. It might be cliche but so what. My life wouldn't be without music.
