It's summer and I realized I was lacking in the T-shirt department until dream but do not sleep sent me one of their graphic T's to try out. The cool thing about this brand is that it is UK-based, with firm roots in the electronic dance music (EDM) scene and promoting strictly positive vibes. I chose one of their more simple designs, with their original logo across a gridded background. I think I'll be wearing this T-shirt a lot this summer. I kept things casual with my trusty vintage Levi's and my zero UV gear - their Epic BMX collaboration snapback is super cute!

NARS favorites

If you didn't know already, I am a huge NARS fan, especially skin makeup. Ever since I participated as a model at NARS Tokyo artist summit, I was immediately hooked - their foundation and concealer worked really well with my acne-prone skin and stayed put all day, which is like a miracle for me.

私はNARSのコスメが大好きです。去年、NARSのアーティストサミットでモデルとして参加した以来、大ファンになりました。私の肌はとても敏感ですが、NARSのベースメイクとは相性がいいんです。

Radiant Creamy Concealer - the best concealer I have ever used, period. 

Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder - sets your foundation beautifully, I use it with a powder puff

Christopher Kane x NARS Blush - such a pretty and subtle color for your cheeks

The Multiple stick blush in Orgasm - I use a little bit of this on the apples of my cheeks for a touch of color

"Don't mesh with me" was the original title of this post, but I tossed it thinking it was too cheesy. Here's a second outfit I created featuring items from Forever 21. The combination of all-black mesh detailing, the puffed sleeves, and the oversized cate-eye sunglasses embody the ultimate urban chic  look with a futuristic edge. The see-through mesh material gives off the perfect balance of sexy and edgy. I'm always surprised by what I can find at Forever 21 - can't wait to go back again to do some more shopping!

By the way, it's Father's Day today, isn't it? Yesterday would have been my dad's birthday as well if he were still alive. When my mind starts to wander, I always wonder what it would be like if he were still with us, but each time I'm reminded that he is in a much better place, with his mother that recently passed. So I advise you - spend as much time as you can with yours, while you still can. <3

そういえば、今日は父の日ですね。まだ生きていたら、昨日は父の誕生日でした。考え事をするとき、たまに、お父さんがまだ生きていたらどうなんだろうなとか思ったりしますが、最終的には、そんなこと考えても意味ない。お父さんは今、もっと良いところにいるんだって思えます。あなたも、まだ可能であれば、お父さんと出来るだけの時間を過ごして下さい！

FOX Beauty Night Out with GOSSIPS Magazine

Photos from last night's FOX Beauty Night Out with GOSSIPS Magazine. Many of the FOX viewers and GOSSIPS readers coincide, so this year they did a joint event, which is honestly a dream come true for fashion and beauty lovers out there. They introduced Miss Universe Japan Eriana Miyamoto and the Japanese representative of Season 3's Asia's Next Top Model Barbara Akemi. They are both so beautiful and I'm glad women like them are representing Japan internationally. The event also hosted a makeup show with M.A.C. makeup artist James Molley, and also a hair show to introduce the new MiraCurl, which is the most useful hair-curling tool out there. I tried it myself, and my hair was curled in less than 10 minutes. Thank you FOX Japan for having me and for hosting such an incredible event!

昨夜は、FOX Beauty Night Out with GOSSIPSでした。FOXの視聴者とGOSSIPSの読者は重なっているらしく、今回はコラボイベントが開催されました。東京のファッションと美容好きの人たちには持ってこいのイベントでしたよ！ステージでは、ミスユニヴァースの宮本エリアナさん、そしてAsia's Next Top Modelシーズン３のバーバラ明美さんがトークをしてくれました。こんなに美しい方たちが日本を代表しているので、とても光栄に思えます。その他にも、M.A.C.のメークアップアーティストのジェームズ・モリーさんのメイクショーや、新しいMiraCurlのカーリングアイロンの紹介もありました。私も使ってみたのですが、あっという間にカールができました！FOX Japan, 楽しいイベントをありがとうございました！
