Sometimes less is more, and that can also be said about fashion, too. The summer weather allows me to be more creative with my outfits because it's usually too warm to be layering. These wide satin pants from H&M perfectly balanced with my deep V crop top, and the combination of blue and white add an instant coolness that is necessary in the Tokyo humidity. I just like wearing anything loose-fitting and comfortable - it's the California girl in me.

We shot these in Jimbocho, an area with a mixture of modern architecture and hidden side streets with retro shops and eateries. One of my favorite cafe's here is Good Morning Cafe, which has the best chai tea latte and really nice terrace seating. Definitely going back again soon.

いつも華やかに着飾らなくてもいいと私は思う。日本の夏は暑すぎるので、コーディネートを組むときに、もっとクリエイティブにならないといけない。トップスとボトムスだけでコーデを決めるのが大事になってくる！このサテンワイドパンツは、コンパクトなこのVネックトップスとバランスがとれて、しかも白と青のコンビネーションが涼しげで良し。単に、私は動きやすくて、ルースな感じの服が好きなだけなんだけどね。

今回は神保町で撮影したのですが、今風のビルもあり、ちょっと昔ながらの隠れ道もあったりで、とても素敵な場所でした。一番気に入っているカフェはGood Morning Cafeで、自家製チャイがめちゃオススメです。テラス席も広くて、夏にはぴったりです！また行きたいな。
