Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo - DISCOVERED & Bedsidedrama

Continuing with my Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo series part 2. For day 4, I wore a DVF pajama setup from her fall collection, which was perfectly comfortable for a day of going to shows and other work in between. I attended DISCOVERED & Bedsidedrama, but couldn't get adequate photos from DISCOVERED so if you are interested, check out the collection at Fashion Press. Bedsidedrama's collection, "Daydream Believer," was a girly, fairy-tale like loungewear collection with intricate headpieces to complete the looks. It was great to see a unique men's and women's collection in one day. Also met up with Anji of Salz Tokyo at one of the shows - great to see you!

Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo の続き、その２。４日目は、DVFのパジャマっぽいセットアップを着て行きました。一日中仕事からのショーからの移動が多かったので、楽チンスタイルがベスト。その日は、DISCOVERED & Bedsidedramaのショーに行ったのですが、DISCOVEREDであまり良い写真が撮れず。。コレクションをご覧になりたい方はファッションプレスまで！BedsidedramaのSSコレクションは「Daydream Believer」というタイトルで、すごくガーリーでおとぎ話みたいな雰囲気が素敵でした。ヘッドピースもお花冠やユニコーンという変わったものもあり、面白かったです。１日に、個性的なメンズとウィメンズコレクションが見れて良かったですね。そして、ショーでSalz Tokyoのアンジーさんとばったり！会えて良かった！

Mixing the old with the new

You can never go wrong with an oversized, ankle-length cardigan. While there are many ways to style one, this time I opted for simple, yet quality pieces in my wardrobe. My favorite Rag & Bone tee, a pleather skirt, my mom's old LV purse, a silver bangle with a leather wrap-around from Spanish jewelry brand Uno de 50, and my new Puma Gold Collection kicks. When there's too much black, a touch of white does the trick with a pair of zeroUV sunnies. Comfort in style is my motto.

スーパーロングカーディガンは、以外と万能なアイテムです。様々なスタイリング方法はありますが、今回はシンプルでクオリティーのあるものを合わせてみました。お気に入りのRag&BoneTシャツ、フェイクレザーのミニスカート、お母さんが昔パリで買ったヴィトンのバッグ、Uno de 50というスペインのブランドのシルバーとレザーのバングル、そして、Puma Gold Collectionの新しいスニーカー。黒系が多すぎるかなって時は、ちょこっと白をプラスしたらいい感じ。ZeroUVのサングラスはそういうときに便利！「動きやすく、スタイリッシュに」が私のモットー。

Black & white nostalgia

Black & white photography immediately arouses feelings of nostalgia. I'm a pretty nostalgic person at heart, especially since I live a completely different life than I did until 4 years ago.

モノクロ写真はノスタルジアを感じさせます。私自身が結構ノスタルジックになりがちで、東京に来る前の時期をいつも思い出します。

Black lace dress

A black slip dress is a more versatile piece than most think. Once it gets a little cooler, I plan to layer it with a plain white tee or even a pair of jeans. And the elegant lace neckline in this one just goes so well with my chokers♡

黒のスリップワンピースは、以外と万能なアイテムなんです。もうちょっと涼しくなったら、白Tシャツをインしたり、デニムと一緒に着てみたりしようかなと思ってます。エレガントなレースのネックラインがチョーカーと相性がいいので、お気に入りです♡

Sporty black mesh

I haven't taken a real summer vacation since I graduated college, so a rare outing is the closest to one for me. And this was also a rare occasion where a photographer and I took 5 hours worth of public transportation to get to a certain location. Can you guess where this is?

Hakone is known for it's hot springs, but the beautiful scenery, lush green mountains and forests, and a gorgeous lake that sparkles during sunset are also worth a visit. I highly recommend purchasing the 5000 yen  ticket from Shinjuku station that allows you to take all forms of public transportation to Hakone and back, including train, bus, ropeway, ship and cable car. Just make sure you don't go during the peak of summertime -which is why I wore the most comfortable clothing I own for this little trip.

大学を卒業してから、まだ一回もちゃんとした夏休みをとったことがない気がする。なので、私にとって日帰りの旅は結構珍しいのです。そして、カメラマンと二人で５時間もかけて目的地までたどり着くというのももっと珍しいです。この写真が撮られた場所、わかりますか？

箱根は温泉で有名ですが、周りの美しい景色、緑で溢れる山々と森、そして夕日になるとキラキラ輝く湖も観光にオススメです。新宿駅で５０００円の券を購入すると、箱根までの往復と、現地での公同交通が全部含まれているので、大変便利です。電車も、バスも、ロープウェーも、ケーブルカーも、船も、全部利用できるんです。でも、夏のピークに行くのは避けた方がいいかもしれないですね。だから私も一番動きやすくて、風通しのいい服をチョイスしました。
