Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo - DISCOVERED & Bedsidedrama

Continuing with my Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo series part 2. For day 4, I wore a DVF pajama setup from her fall collection, which was perfectly comfortable for a day of going to shows and other work in between. I attended DISCOVERED & Bedsidedrama, but couldn't get adequate photos from DISCOVERED so if you are interested, check out the collection at Fashion Press. Bedsidedrama's collection, "Daydream Believer," was a girly, fairy-tale like loungewear collection with intricate headpieces to complete the looks. It was great to see a unique men's and women's collection in one day. Also met up with Anji of Salz Tokyo at one of the shows - great to see you!

Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo の続き、その２。４日目は、DVFのパジャマっぽいセットアップを着て行きました。一日中仕事からのショーからの移動が多かったので、楽チンスタイルがベスト。その日は、DISCOVERED & Bedsidedramaのショーに行ったのですが、DISCOVEREDであまり良い写真が撮れず。。コレクションをご覧になりたい方はファッションプレスまで！BedsidedramaのSSコレクションは「Daydream Believer」というタイトルで、すごくガーリーでおとぎ話みたいな雰囲気が素敵でした。ヘッドピースもお花冠やユニコーンという変わったものもあり、面白かったです。１日に、個性的なメンズとウィメンズコレクションが見れて良かったですね。そして、ショーでSalz Tokyoのアンジーさんとばったり！会えて良かった！

First signs of spring (featuring Tobi & Klasse14)

Photo-shooting with Nahoko, round 2. It was Monday, I didn't know what to wear on this chilly February day, so I threw together some of my favorite items at the moment. Sort of resembling a sorceress... not intentionally though. I almost wore my plaid scarf from Uniqlo until I realized it looked hideous with the rest of the outfit (what was I thinking?). Time and time again, I am always reminded that you can never go wrong with black.

I think I'm starting to build a minimalist wardrobe. I recently found an article about minimalism via Into Mind blog, and it thoroughly explained what minimalism is and how to get started on such a wardrobe. I wear the same key pieces over and over again, combining them with others so I don't get bored with myself. I would much rather spend extra money on an item I really like than have too many less expensive and poor quality items. I ended up getting rid of a huge chunk of my wardrobe recently, and I realized they were all pieces I just picked up on a whim. Bad habit. I also believe owning less items forces you to be creative when creating daily outfits. :)

Yet again, Nahoko did an amazing job. We went from location to location to yet another location on our short lunch break, which resulted in all these cool shots. When she saw my outfit, the first thing she said was, " I like it, you remind me of a sorceress." Awesome. 

月曜日の朝はいつもバタバタで、何を着よう？！と迷いながらも、何かしら気に入った格好に仕上がる。カメラマンの鈴木さんには、「魔女みたいだね。こういう格好好きだよ」と言ってくれました。キキとは遠くかけ離れてるけど、こういうダークな感じは私も好き。こういう寒い日はレーヤーで暖かく、スタイリッシュに。

Happy New Year, everyone! I wish all of you a year full of love, happiness and success.

I'm sure many of you have some New Year's resolutions for 2015. I know I do. And I think the most important goal for me is to be as healthy as possible - make sure I'm on a good diet and exercise regularly so that I feel healthy and have something to show for it when I'm working. My athletic gear courtesy of Aumnie and new Nike Free 5.0 Flash running shoes will keep me motivated for a better, healthier lifestyle. I'm going to need all the energy I can get for the upcoming year.

I hope everything else will somehow fall into place as I keep on moving forward, grasping the opportunities that come my way and work hard to achieve my career goals, one step at a time. I do believe that results will take form when one works with dedication - I've seen it from those around me and they are the biggest inspiration I have. Which also leads to a lifelong resolution: maintaining and cherishing the relationships in my life.
