This week is Restaurant Week in Japan, which meant planning a much-needed lunch date with my good friend Yui. We've been doing Restaurant Week for a few years now, both in LA and Tokyo, and this time we chose French cuisine at a restaurant in Suidobashi called Grill & Bar Lieu HOTEL NIWA TOKYO. A full course lunch for only 2000 yen ($20), including dessert and coffee. This place had an all-you-can-eat salad bar and second helpings of baguette, which was amazing. I was even happier to have had time to catch up with Yui, since we hadn't seen each other since before Christmas.
och, great post! :-)
ReplyDeleteAw, how fun! The portions look so dainty, which is perfect because it looks like you had several different dishes to eat! :) Yui looks so little and young! And you look fantastic--as always! ^^

there are so many wonderful things about this post.. but the thing i cannot get over is that epic picachu phone case haha!
ReplyDeleteNice restaurant, and I love the Pikachu mobile cover! Lunch dates with friends are always needed, and it is good that you both had time to spare so that you can share a meal together. An all-you-can-eat salad bar is just the thing to keep your forks occupied while you catch up on things. Great post, looking forward to the next one!
ReplyDeleteGood Day from Michelle @ http://vinamy.com/americas-restaurant-recipes/
