A quick outfit post from a couple days back. I had a my friend snap these after our lunch date at Weekend Garage Tokyo in Shibuya. This was the day of the adidas party, so I was like, "I have to wear my adidas no matter what!" and this is the outfit I came up with. The weather was nice enough to pull out my beloved vintage Levi's jacket and my pleather skirt from the Dayz tokyo from the back of my closet, and to finish the look off with my New Era cap. Stark contrast to my last OOTD, eh?

何日か前のコーデはちょっとヒップホップ風。この日はadidasのイベントへ行くことになっていたので、「絶対adidas履いていかなきゃ！」と思い、このコーデにしあげました。デニムやミニスカートの季節になって、嬉しいです♪仕上げはNew Eraの白いキャップ。前回のコーデとは全然違うねw

Lunch at Kitte, Tokyo Station

This past weekend, I met with my mom, her cousin and daughter for lunch at Kitte Marunouchi, which is right next to Tokyo station. It's a post office turned department store, with lots of shopping and dining that you can only do in Japan. We lunched at a shabu shabu / tonkatsu restaurant called Hirata Bokujo - the ginger pork I had was delicious! It was so nice to catch up with my mom's cousins, who were visiting Tokyo for the day from Osaka, and of course, my mom. I've been sick in bed with some kind of flu, and with work on the other days, so I haven't seen her as much as I was planning to. What can I say? I love my mom :)


先週末は、母と従姉妹達と、東京駅のKITTE でランチしました。母が１年ぶりに日本に来日していて、従姉妹達も日帰りで大阪から来ていたので、ちょうどいいタイミングで会うことができました。KITTEの金華蓋料理・平田牧場 極 で美味しいランチを頂きました。豚の生姜焼き、おすすめですよ！家族と過ごす日は楽しいし、本当に癒されます。

I've been a little bit MIA this weekend, due to a cold and a fever that has been and is still persistent. I'm getting better though, so no worries. Make sure you don't catch a cold in the middle of spring (it sucks!).

These were taken last week when I had an audition and an interview lined up in one afternoon. Sometimes, models go to auditions in casual attire, then change from sneakers to heels right before their turn at the audition, and truthfully, I do that too. But I try my best to look put together whenever possible, and this was one of those days. When I found this sleeveless/ shoulder-less jumpsuit at Zara, I wasn't expecting myself to layer it over a white shirt, but it's actually quite necessary during these chillier, pre-summer months. And also a great way to achieve the business casual, "OL (Office Lady)" look in an effortlessly chic way. But I can't wait for the warmer summer months when I can wear this jumpsuit as is!

I am seriously in love with this structured bag c/o of Metrocity - the pop of orange and the leopard print on the sides of the bag are so cute. ブログを書くのが久しぶりな感じがします。ちょっと風邪と熱で寝込んでたせいかもしれませんが。。もうほぼほぼ治っているの大丈夫です！

今日のコーディネートの写真は先週、オーディションと面接があった日に、リサさんに撮ってもらいました。モデルのオーディションへ行くときは、結構カジュアルな格好で行っちゃうときもあるのですが、今回はちょっと張り切って、ビジネスカジュアルにしてみました！Zaraで気まぐれで選んだこのジャンプスーツは、最近大活躍です！白シャツをインしたら、スーツっぽくなるので、面接にはぴったりです。そして、前回ブログにアップしたMetrocityのポップアップの記事でお話ししたバッグがこちらです！すごく使いやすくてくて可愛い、オレンジがさし色になるお洒落バッグです。今の一番のお気に入り♪ショルダーバッグとしても使えますよ！オンラインストアを是非チェックしてみてください！

Metrocity Pop-up in Shinjuku

Last weekend, I stopped by the Metrocity pop-up shop in the Shinjuku Odakyu department store. This brand first launched in Italy in 1992, and has since then launched in other countries, and now is making its way to Japan. This was my first time getting a glimpse into the brand, I was very impressed. All of their bags, accessories, clothing and shoes are high quality, stylish and colorful. Their bags, clutches and wallets were my favorite- you can tell they put so much detail into their craftsmanship by how useful they are. For me, I look for space and practicality, as well as, of course, the design and quality. If you're looking for the perfect bag, you must shop at Metrocity (check out their online store here!).

Spring / summer is the perfect season to sport your sunglasses. ZeroUV, a brand from Orange County, California, sent me some stylish shades for the upcoming season, and I was only too thrilled to feature them :) These retro round frames are ideal for dressing up an outfit because of the elegant metallic mesh cat-eye detail. I thought the gold frames would go well with army green, and that's where this Zara jacket comes in handy. Don't forget to check out all the other affordable sunglasses on zeroUV website!

We shot these photos at Ebisu Garen Place, which is where the Lancome 80th Anniversary party was held (you can read my post here). It's a fancy area for dining and shopping with beautiful architecture. I'm just loving the glorious weather these days, too :)

T minus 3 days until my mom arrives - I can't wait to see her and spend some mother-daughter time here. It just seems like whenever I make my yearly visits back home, we are both too busy to really spend quality time together. So many things to look forward to!
