Moussy had an opening reception party at their store in Harajuku Tokyu, for their flagship shop open. The girls and I were lucky enough to grab a pair of jeans amidst the craziness that was going on. Can't wait to wear my new jeans this spring :) Thanks Moussy!

BABY-G Pop-up event in Harajuku La Foret

A few nights ago I was invited to the pop-up event for BABY-G watches in Harajuku La Foret. I participated in an SUP event back in July in collaboration with BABY-G, Humming Birds magazine and Vita Coco (you can read it here), so it was a great pleasure to be able to see their new collection. I went with my friend RinRin Doll, one of the cutest Harajuku babe to ever exist♡ We got some new watches courtesy of BABY-G, and I chose this adorable leopard print watch from the BA-110 series. I can already tell I'll be wearing this A LOT... Thank you so much BABY-G!

先日は、BABY-Gの原宿ラフォーレで行われたポップアップイベントに行って来ました！７月にBABY-G x Humming Birds Magazine x Vita Cocoがコラボで開催したSUPのイベントに参加したのですが、今回も新しいコレクションを見ることができて光栄でした！友達のリンリンチャンと行きましたよ！可愛い腕時計を貰っちゃいました♡私はBA-110シリーズのレオパードプリントの腕時計を選びました。これは絶対毎日使いそうな予感。。！ありがとうございます！

JAMS Project reception party

Tonight was the JAMS Project opening reception party in Harajuku. A select boutique, this adorable 2-story shop promises to become a very popular shopping destination. It was great seeing so many familiar faces in one place! Tomorrow is Fashion's Night Out, can't wait!

It's almost farewell to summer. But while it's still around, I'm posting a summer festival style that can be worn going into fall. Farfetch Japan asked me to join their contest in collaboration with "Unfollow (#unfollowers)," or innovators who don't follow trends but rather inspire others through their unique style. For the contest, I was asked to create the perfect summer festival outfit using items from their site, and also my own OOTD snaps with items from my own wardrobe. For me, comfort and style are both very important when going to a summer festival - you are most likely standing all day in pretty severe weather, but you also want to look your best. I opted for some casual pieces that weren't too loud but also practical for a day in the sun. And a little bit of suede is perfect for a late-summer festival or event. This suede fringed vest from Forever 21 is one of my favorite pieces I picked up recently.

夏がとうとう終わりを告げようとしています。でも、まだ少しでも夏の湿気が残っている間、この夏フェスをインスパイアしたコーデをアップしとこうと思います。Farfetch Japan より、「アンフォロー」とのコラボレーション企画が開催されていて、そのコンテストに参加することにしました。「アンフォロワー(#unfollower)」とは、真に自分をらしく生きる掟破りなイノベーターたちのこと。今回のテーマは「夏フェス・パーフェクトコーディネート」です。Farfetchのサイトのアイテムを使って、夏フェスコーデのムードボードを作りました。プラス、自分のワードローブを使用して、秋でも着回せる夏フェスコーデを組んでみました。夏フェスは暑い中立つ時間が長いので、動きやすくて着やすい洋服がベスト。カジュアルでスタイリッシュなアイテムをチョイスしてみました。スウェード素材は秋にもぴったりなので、このForever 21のベストはお気に入りです♡

With August just around the corner, it's finally starting to feel a lot like summer, or at least it is for me. The endless heat wave, summer barbecues and trips to the beach. And when its over 35 degrees Celsius everyday plus the humidity, less clothing is a must. This airy T-shirt dress from Blondy is the perfect summer basic, and add a couple of colorful accessories and you got yourself a beach-y outfit. I got this smiley tote and these handmade bracelets as birthday gifts, and they make my day instantly brighter. And I think I wear my pineapple headband almost everyday...

I'm really looking forward to the weekend - if everything goes well, I'll be recording a new song and I just got all the equipment I need to start practicing DJ-ing. I'm still a beginner and it's more difficult than I had thought, but I'm always up for the challenge. Hope you all are enjoying your summer and challenging yourself with something new! :)

あっという間に７月が終わろうとしている今日この頃、やっと夏！って感じがし始めた気がします。永遠と続く蒸し暑さ、夏のバーベキュー、海。そして、こんな暑さが続くと、なるべく薄い服装でいたいですよね！BlondyのTシャツワンピはとてもエアリーで、着回せるベーシックの一枚。今回は色んなアクセや小物で着飾ってみました。このスマイリーのバッグとミサンガはバースデープレゼントとして頂きました。可愛いでしょう？でも、このカチューシャは付け過ぎかな。。

今週末も楽しみ！新曲のレコーディングもあるし、DJ用の機材が揃ったので、練習に取りかかれる！まだまだ初心者で思った以上に難しいけど、頑張ります。皆さんも良い夏を、そして、新しいチャレンジをしてみて下さい！

Moschino Opening Party at Harajuku La Foret

I attended the Moschino Opening Party at La Foret in Harajuku with my friend Amy. It was probably one of the more colorful events I've been too for sure! Red and yellow everywhere! I especially loved the Moschino x Jeremy Scott collection (the cow print bags and accessories) and the Fall Winter 14-15 Runway Capsule Collection (the McDonald's inspired items) which included T-shirts, bags and tech accessories. You can check out all the collections here. Amy's favorite was the "I don't speak Italian but I do speak Moschino" T-shirt. Isn't she the cutest?:)

I had a full day of work before the event, and it was so muggy and humid yesterday, so I went pretty bare with a cropped tank that I got a while ago at Zara (similar here) and some loose-fitted tapered pants from Forever 21 (similar here). Anyways, I had a really great time last night!
