Just a few days ago, I experienced the first snow of the year in the Tokyo area. Even though the snow has melted already and the weather has improved, the winds are chilly and it's hard to avoid a little red nose. Lisa of Paint with Stars was such a good sport this time around - it was ridiculously cold the day we shot these photos! But I think we got some pretty good shots before we headed indoors for some karaoke time (she's also a singer-songwriter! check out her Youtube

Even though I am bundled up and it's hard to tell, the featured item in this outfit is the peplum top from
Yoins. It has a front zipper closure, so it could potentially be worn as a light jacket on warmer days. It fits well and the high-waisted peplum detail accented my curves nicely. Yoins has a huge selection of affordable clothing, from outerwear to shoes. This top was only $23.95! I pulled out some accessories that were hiding in the back of my closet, like my regimental stipe headband from Opening Ceremony and a fur stole I got a long time ago at H&M. Perfect items for a windy day.
How was your week/weekend? I unfortunately caught a fever middle of last week, right before the Bunka Fashion Graduate University fashion show. A bit stressful but I'm glad I got through it. Take care not to catch any colds or fevers or whatever is out there - being sick is not fun!
