My mom leaves for California tomorrow, so tonight was the last night I got to spend with her and my grandparents. I'm so glad we were able to do a mother-daughter photo shoot last week at Shinjuku Gyoen, courtesy of Paint with Stars photography. My mom said she was nervous before the shoot, but we all had a great time at the beautiful park, right in the middle of the hectic city life of Shinjuku. I will always treasure these photos. I hope I get to see her and the rest of my family soon.

birkenstock madrid eva model launch party

Tonight, I attended the Birkenstock Madrid Eva Model Launch Party in Harajuku with my friend Amy. It was seriously poppin' when we arrived, and we all got to wear the new Madrid Evas during the party. My model friend Melody Yoko was the image model for this launch party, so there were posters of her modeling the different Birkenstocks all over the warehouse (she is the girl in the blue palm tree dress). It was great seeing some of my other friends at the party :) And I'm so excited to own my first pair of Birkenstocks!

lauderdale part 2 & shop bop sale event

More good food, more good company. Made my way to Lauderdale once more for an all girls lunch with my mom and my friend Amy. A little disappointing that they don't serve their eggs benedict on weekdays, but we still enjoyed a delicious lunch over girls talk. I'm glad that my mom is able to meet some of my close friends in Japan!
